Workshop Description 
The workshop is designed to build capacity of participants to assess, develop and utilize logic models for planning and evaluation. The workshop assumes some prior knowledge of evaluation and logic models.

In this workshop participants will learn:

  • What is evaluation and how do logic models fit in?
  • What are the different components of logic models and their definitions?
  • What are the potential uses, benefits and limitations of logic models in Canadian and international projects?
  • What are the different types of logic models?
  • How do you test your logic model to see if it works?
  • What are evaluations issues and questions?
  • How do you build an evaluation matrix?

Note: If it would be valuable to use your own program as a case study during the workshop, the instructor would be pleased to use submitted cases. Please send a 1-2 page description of a program you are working on including a description of activities, objectives, number of staff and budget toadmin@evaluationontario.ca by Friday April 11, 2013. 

Cost

CES Member: $550 (plus HST $621.50)
Non-Member: $600 (plus HST $678)
Student CES Member: $220 (plus HST $248.60)*
Student Non-Member: $270 (plus HST $305.10)*
